Maintenance Technician
Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description A maintenance technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
Essentially, the goal of a maintenance technician is to maintain the facilities and common areas in the best possible condition.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
Working knowledge of PLC (Program Logic Control) i.
e.
, Allen bradley and Siemens.
Welding Fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical components.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
EPA technician certification required.
Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer Literate.
Experience in Manufacturing environment.
Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
Excellent organization and prioritizing skills.
Able to work overtime as needed and on any shift including weekends and nights.
Two years of elevated heavy machinery processing operator experience is a plus.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Maintain machine and production efficiency and at peak levels.
Knowledge of mold assembly and disassembly in order to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments.
Complete and maintain required logs and records.
Able to use quality instruments.
Must have knowledge of and be able to adjust support equipment as necessary to maintain and meet production requirements.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 100 lbs.
Wearing required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time is mandatory.
Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment.
Housekeeping of your area is must.
